NDPC to Host Track at 2014 National Homeland Security Conference

The Training for Preparedness track will include presentations, panel discussions, and roundtables covering the latest preparedness challenges and innovative solutions and training resources to address these challenges. Timely topics include the use of simulations and "gaming" in homeland security training; response to various types of active shooter incidents; homemade explosive devices; cyber threats to the nation's critical infrastructure; preparing for a radiological/nuclear disaster; pre-disaster recovery planning; and more. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of today's threats and the types of training necessary to prepare for these threats.

The National Homeland Security Conference will be in Philadelphia, PA May 20-22.
